The Law Offices of Jeffrey Lichtman Community Service Scholarship recognizes students who have made a meaningful impact in their communities through dedication, leadership, and service. Our firm understands the challenges many communities face and is proud to support students who take the initiative to create positive change.
Each year, one outstanding student is selected for demonstrating a strong commitment to improving the lives of others and helping build a brighter future. We encourage students who have gone above and beyond in their service efforts to apply.

Criminal Justice Reform Scholarship
New York criminal defense attorney Jeffrey Lichtman believes in providing a strong, aggressive defense for each of his clients that are targeted with overzealous prosecutions. We have a special interest in issues pertaining to criminal justice reforms and issues relating to sentencing guidelines for convicted offenders. That is why in 2018, we were proud to sponsor our Criminal Justice Reform Scholarship.
This scholarship was awarded to a student who effectively communicated our shared beliefs in the need for a true reform in the criminal justice system to include a review of existing sentencing guidelines and potential eradication of mandatory minimum sentencing.
