The Law Offices of Jeffrey Lichtman is proud to actively support organizations and individuals who dedicate their time to their community and to those in need. Each year we are also proud to offer a scholarship to contribute towards the funding of deserving students’ higher education.
Community Service Scholarship
By working in the criminal justice system, the defense attorneys at the Law Offices of Jeffrey Lichtman are aware of the many hardships society faces, and appreciate the sacrifices particular individuals make to improve their community.
Each year our firm recognizes one student who goes above and beyond to make a significant difference in their community for the better. This outstanding individual is one who sees a specific issue, and takes the opportunity to try to mend it. We are proud to work with community members who work for a brighter future. Each year, we look forward to awarding a dedicated student with our Community Service Scholarship for their hard work and efforts in their community.

Criminal Justice Reform Scholarship
New York criminal defense attorney Jeffrey Lichtman believes in providing a strong, aggressive defense for each of his clients that are targeted with overzealous prosecutions. We have a special interest in issues pertaining to criminal justice reforms and issues relating to sentencing guidelines for convicted offenders. That is why in 2018, we were proud to sponsor our Criminal Justice Reform Scholarship.
This scholarship was awarded to a student who effectively communicated our shared beliefs in the need for a true reform in the criminal justice system to include a review of existing sentencing guidelines and potential eradication of mandatory minimum sentencing.
